We are committed to prevention and countermeasures

At medica mondiale we have a zero-tolerance policy towards sexualised violence, exploitation, abuse of power, any discriminatory behaviour or any form of corruption in our organisation. This means that we actively seek to pre-empt, prevent and avoid such behaviour and take action against incidents of this kind.

Expressing complaints or concerns without fear

It is important to us that our staff, partners and others with whom we interact in the context of our work should have no need to fear consequences if they complain or raise concerns about what they have experienced or observed. Complaints can be submitted even where there is no evidence or if you do not want to share the evidence at this stage.

High priority: Safety and protection for those affected and witnesses

You can submit a complaint in an anonymous manner or you can tell us your name. If you are at risk or feel at risk in your current situation or as a result of your complaint, we will look for a solution together to protect you in the best possible way.

From Cologne Main Station take underground train lines 5 (direction Reichensbergerplatz), 16 (direction Niehl Sebastianstraße) or 18 (direction Thielenbruch) to Reichensbergerplatz. Leave the underground station using the exit on the right in the opposite direction of travel. Turn right into Weißenburgstraße, then left into Hülchrather Straße. You will find us on the left hand side.

By car

Please note that there is limited room for parking outside our head office and that parking is subject to payment at ticket machines.

Coming from Autobahnkreuz Köln Ost (intersection Cologne east)

Take exit "Köln-Zentrum", direction "Zoobrücke" (Zoo Bridge). Drive onto the Zoobrücke and cross the Rhine. Turn towards "Zentrum/Zoo/Flora" and take the far right, separate lane. At the next set of lights, turn left into Riehler Straße. After about 500 metres turn into the fourth street on the right (Weißenburgstraße), then immediately left into Hülchrather Straße. Coming from Autobahnkreuz Köln Nord (intersection Cologne north)Drive towards "Köln-Zentrum" until the end of the motorway, take the far left lane and follow signs towards "Zoobrücke/Messe". You will then be on Innere Kanalstraße, which you stay on crossing three sets of lights until shortly before Zoobrücke (Zoo Bridge). There, use the right exit signposted "Zoo/Flora" and turn right into Riehler Straße at the end of the exit at the lights. After about 400 metres turn into the third street on the right (Weißenburgstraße), then turn left immediately into Hülchrather Straße.

Coming from Autobahnkreuz Köln Süd (intersection Cologne south)

Drive towards "Köln-Zentrum" as far as the roundabout. Enter the right lane in order to take Militärringstraße towards "Rheinufer" (Rhine bank). Follow the road and keep going along the Rhine bank for about one kilometre. After passing the tunnel in the old town turn left at the second set of lights into Theodor-Heuss-Ring towards Ebertplatz. At Ebertplatz turn right into Riehler Straße. Turn left into Weißenburgstraße at the second set of lights before the Oberlandesgericht (Higher Regional Court), then immediately left again into Hülchrather Straße.
