Evaluation: Amplifying voices of women affected by war-related sexualised and gender-based violence in the Western Balkans – For a culture of recognition and reconciliation

The Amplifying Voices project (2020 – 2024) aimed to contribute to a culture of recognition and reconciliation in the Western Balkans by integrating the perspective and needs of women affected by war-related sexualised and gender-based violence into national and regional initiatives dealing with the past. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the project was implemented by seven partners in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. A final evaluation of the project found interventions were relevant and effective, particularly at the individual, community and institutional levels.
